Kane and his team are dealing with three different cases, one involving a young sniper, still haunted by the memories of his past as one of the survivors, a new segregation called “New Hope”, where they enlist Brett Radner to take in being a recruit, to find out more of this segregation, and a serial rapist who hasn’t been convicted, unnerving the volatile Juliet Saunders to a high degree. After two of the segregation’s members are put in jail after roughing up to an African-American female, Juliet and Sarah Montgomery go confront them after they’re released, unexpectedly. New Hope apparently is a segregation of Nazis, who only allow the white people inside, and are racists, dealing with Crystal Meth, a very illegal drug. Radner takes up a disguise known as Clevis Johnson, and find out all of this information, but has to take some hits of the meth in order to fit in, or quoted “Cut from the same cloth.”, and is gently bending the major rule for drug intake.stevenJuliet is enraged when district attorney Lisa Clayton fails to convict a serial rapist, and leaves Juliet in a desperate rage to put him where he belongs. She has been held back by both Andre Mason and Kane, being pulled off the case. A concerned Sarah Montgomery also watches over Juliet. Juliet is being clouded by flashbacks of a former sexual assault, committed on her. The deputy sergeant seems to be the leader of the New Hope segregation, and Radner continues to bend the law gently, resulting in suspicion from the S.I.U. cops. Juliet and Radner meet back at the S.I.U. from their own cases, Juliet suspecting Radner is being influenced with some drug, he keeps on telling her he’s not high, just tired. Noticing her anger, and discovering that she has been pulled off the case of the sequence rapist, Radner breaks into Juliet, discovering that she had been sexually assaulted in the past, and it explains her tough-minded attitude, and her actions. He does however, suspect a little something of her.MV5BOTc1MTQzOTY3Ml5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNDA1ODgxMzE@._V1_SX1777_CR0,0,1777,999_AL_Sarah and Radner start to develop a little attraction for each other, and Juliet is interrogating her about this, or at least asking her questions if she’s seeing anyone. Sarah admits that she isn’t, or at least not yet, and asks if Juliet is seeing anyone. She says “no”, and also advised Sarah to watch her back. Saying that guys cannot be trusted. Sarah gets concerned, and talks to her about the case she’s been pulled from, and finds out that Juliet had been in a relationship with a guy who had forced himself on her. Sarah is the fourth cop to discover her riled up teammate’s darker past of her sexual assault from a vicious ex- boyfriend. She let him get away, and Sarah consoles her, saying it wasn’t her fault. Meanwhile, Kane confronts the leader of the segregation, and beats him around a bit, in order to arrest him. Afterwards, Kane talks to both Radner and Juliet for ‘crossing the line’, saying you can bend the law, but never break it.http _media.cineblog.it_d_d58_stasera-in-tv-su-rete-4-true-justice-ii-langelo-della-morte-con-steven-seagal-2It was a tough part moviesode, dealing with racism, Nazi’s, and national betrayal, but to sour-coat it, it was much darker, discovering the haunting dark past of one of Kane’s teammates. I’m not a big fan when it comes to women characters becoming rape victims, (or in this case, for this episode, a former victim of that particular assault), but Meghan Ory did a fairly good job, playing the former victim of this vicious assault, who managed to portray Juliet’s recovery from her vicious ex-boyfriend’s crime very impressively. She hardly shown any signs of this from the previous moviesodes, but “Dark Vengeance” was hinting this in a way or two. Steven’s acting was just amazing to see yet again, taking care of that segregation leader on his own terms. Definitely improved since the previous moviesodes, so a straight-out 8/10 stars is what I rated this as!

top-of-the-world_01In Las Vegas for a quicky divorce, a just-paroled ex-cop and his wife wander into the Top of the World Casino, run by the shady Charles Atlas. They win big, right as the casino is being robbed. The police believe their big win was a staged diversion, and the two of them become suspects. Over the course of the evening and next morning, the two attempt to escape to surrounded casino, and to prove their innocence, as well as to save their marriage.3a06eb652967c723cced5d8f718Not a terrible movie, but it’s kind of lacking. I would only recommend you watch it if nothing else better is playing on TV.

CAST

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat)
Tia Carrere (Relic Hunter)
Toshirô Obata (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

Los Angeles cop Chris Kenner (Dolph Lundgren) is an American who was raised in Japan. He is given a new partner, Johnny Murata (Brandon Lee), an American of partial Japanese descent. Kenner does not appreciate American culture, while Johnny does not much like Japanese culture. One thing they both enjoy are the martial arts, of which they are both experts. The two are assigned to L.A.’s Little Tokyo, where they break up some criminal activity in a Japanese restaurant, and an arrest is made. While Kenner and Johnny are questioning the suspect, Kenner loses his temper and rips the suspect’s shirt, and the tattoos that Kenner sees on the suspect remind Kenner of when he was 9 years old, a time when he witnessed his parents being killed by a member of the Yakuza. The tattoos are the trademark of the Iron Claw Yakuza clan. However, before Kenner or Murata can get any information out of the suspect, he kills himself in the interrogation room by breaking his own neckOn the other side of town, the leader of the Iron Claw, Yoshida (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), kills the owner of a popular downtown nightclub called the Bonsai Club by crushing the owner, Tanaka (Philip Tan), in a car compactor. To celebrate “gaining” ownership of the Bonsai Club, Yoshida throws a party at his house with all of the club staff. One of the girls at the party, named Angel (Renee Griffin), is revealed to have warned Tanaka about Yoshida behind his back, and this infuriates Yoshida. Yoshida questions Angel about her loyalty, and she attempts to appease Yoshida by offering her body to him. Yoshida then drugs Angel and strips off her clothes, and then fondles her from behind before beheading her. When the coroner runs an analysis on Angel’s body, it is revealed that she was forced into ingesting a large amount of methamphetamines in her system which would have led to her death anyway. This discovery of drugs, together with the suspect having Yakuza tattoos, cause Kenner and Johnny to go to the Bonsai Club in search of information. There they meet lounge singer Minako Okeya (Tia Carrere), who was a good friend of Angel’s. Before they can get any useful information out of her, they are ambushed and taken to see the nightclub’s owner and Kenner recognizes Yoshida as the man who killed his parents. Yoshida is now a drug manufacturer using a local brewery as his distribution center. He uses smaller gangs such as the Hells Angels, Crips and Sureños to peddle the drugs for him, in return for a percentage of the profit.Kenner and Johnny escape from the nightclub. Later that night, Yoshida rapes and kidnaps Minako and vows to kill Kenner. Kenner and Johnny set out for Yoshida’s heavily guarded home, where they rescue Minako. His pride wounded, Yoshida sends his men out to get Minako back. He has Kenner and Johnny captured and tortured, but Kenner and Johnny manage to escape, leading to a protracted battle in which Kenner and Johnny emerge victorious. This film is funny, action packed and has a decent story, but we all know that the story is not the movies strong point, the action sequences are! They are well choreographed and Dolph and Brandon make for a very humorous team. Showdown in little Tokyo is pretty damn good and a lot of fun. I would strongly recommend it to any action movie fan.

Sydney Fox is a professor but primarily a globe-trotting “relic hunter,” looking for ancient artifacts to return to museums and/or the ancestors of the original owner. She’s aided by her linguistic assistant Nigel, and occasionally by her somewhat air-headed secretary Claudia. She often ends up battling rival hunters seeking out artifacts for the money.

I needed to watch several episodes of this show to decide its qualities and I’m glad I waited as my initial response was not a favourable one.It takes a while to buy Tia Carrere as adventuress extraordinaire Sidney Fox but it did not take long for this beautiful and talented actress to make the role her own and she has superb chemistry with her excellent foil Christien Anholt who brings much of a Hugh Grant type persona to his part as the hapless Nigel.Their globe-trotting adventures are the stuff of 30’s serials and are highly derivative but handled in a never over-played tongue in cheek fashion which makes the series ever more enjoyable as it progresses. May not be the best show in the world, but is sure as hell fun.

Rock-and-roll fans Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar now host their public-access television television show, Wayne’s World, from an abandoned factory in Aurora, Illinois. After an Aerosmith concert, Wayne has a dream in which he meets Jim Morrison and a “weird naked Indian” in a desert. Morrison convinces Wayne that his destiny is to organize a major music festival. Wayne and Garth dub the concert “Waynestock” and hire Morrison’s former roadie, Del Preston. Their early attempts to sign bands and sell tickets fail, and Wayne wonders if the endeavor is futile.Wayne’s girlfriend Cassandra, singer of the band Crucial Taunt, has a new producer, Bobby Cahn, who tries to pull her away from Wayne and Illinois. After Wayne admits spying on her due to his suspicion of Bobby’s ulterior motives, Cassandra breaks up with him and becomes engaged to Bobby. Garth meets a beautiful woman, Honey Hornée, who attempts to manipulate Garth into killing her ex-husband, but Garth ends the relationship. Tickets are sold for Waynestock but no bands arrive. Leaving Garth to keep the rowdy crowd in check, Wayne disrupts Cassandra’s wedding before escaping the ceremony with her. Meanwhile, Garth has stage fright during the concert. Wayne returns to find the bands have still not arrived. In the dream desert, Wayne and Garth consult Morrison, who says that the bands will not come and that all that matters is they tried. They become lost in the desert. Finding this unacceptable, Wayne and Garth reenact the ending of Thelma & Louise, driving their car off a cliff while trying to find the bands. Finally, Wayne and Garth stage an ending in which the bands arrive and Waynestock is a success. After the concert, the park is covered with trash and the “weird naked Indian” cries. Wayne and Garth begin to remove the litter, promising to clean the entire park.Honestly if someone asked me if Wayne’s World 2 is worth the watch, I’d definitely say yes. This is always guaranteed a good laugh, just Garth’s story alone with Kim Bassinger as Honey Hornee is worth the look. I also love the scene where the guys end up in a gay bar and end up singing “Y.M.C.A.” song. Also Christopher Walken is in this movie, what more do you need to watch a movie? Christopher was such a great addition to the characters and made a great villain. It was great to see all the characters back together and this was a fun sequel, so if you need a good laugh, don’t hold back, this is a movie that is sure to tickle you’re funny bone.

In Aurora, Illinois, rock and roll fans Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar host a public-access television show, Wayne’s World, from Wayne’s parents’ basement. Learning that the show is popular in the Aurora area, television producer Benjamin Oliver offers to buy the rights for $10,000. Garth has doubts about the deal but is too shy to say anything to Wayne so the pair accept the offer. Wayne and Garth attend a local night club, where they avoid Wayne’s troubled ex-girlfriend Stacy. Wayne falls for Cassandra Wong, vocalist and bassist of the band Crucial Taunt, playing at the club that night. He impresses her with his Cantonese and purchases an expensive guitar he has long yearned.Benjamin attempts to steal Cassandra from Wayne by exploiting his wealth and good looks. He distracts Wayne and Garth with tickets to an Alice Cooper concert while offering Cassandra a role in a music video. At the concert, Wayne and Garth make the acquaintance of bodyguard Frankie Sharp, who is also producer of Sharp Records. While filming Wayne’s World under Benjamin’s oversight, Wayne and Garth find it difficult to adjust to the new professional studio environment. Their contract obliges them to give a promotional interview to their sponsor Noah Vanderhoff, who owns a franchise of amusement arcades. Wayne ridicules Vanderhoff with insulting notes written on the back of his question cards and is fired from the show as result, causing a rift in his friendship with Garth. Jealous of Benjamin, Wayne attempts to prevent Cassandra from participating in the music video shoot. Cassandra consequently breaks up with him, furious at his lack of trust. Wayne and Garth reunite and form a plan to win Cassandra back by having Frankie Sharp hear Crucial Taunt play. While Garth and their friends infiltrate a satellite station with the aid of Benjamin’s assistant Russell, Wayne goes to Cassandra’s video shoot. In an failed attempt to uncover Benjamin’s ulterior motives Wayne embarrasses himself. As he leaves, Cassandra changes her mind about Benjamin resulting in Wayne’s apology, and they return to Aurora. They delay Benjamin’s pursuit by having Garth’s police officer friend perform a rectal body cavity search on him.Broadcasting from Wayne’s basement, Wayne’s World successfully hacks into Sharp’s satellite television to broadcast Cassandra’s performance. As her performance ends, Sharp and Benjamin converge on Wayne’s basement. Sharp decides not to offer Crucial Taunt a record contract. Cassandra breaks up with Wayne and departs with Benjamin to a tropical resort. Stacy confesses that she is carrying Wayne’s child, and a fire destroys Wayne’s house. The unsatisfied Wayne and Garth reenact the scene in an alternative ending, unmasking Benjamin as “Old Man Withers” in a “Scooby-Doo ending”. They reenact it again in a “mega happy ending” in which Cassandra signs a record contract, reunites with Wayne, and Russell learns that “platonic love can exist between two grown men”. Garth begins a relationship with a waitress at the local diner, and Benjamin learns that money and looks do not bring happiness. The film frequently breaks the fourth wall, with Wayne, Garth, and others on occasion speaking directly to the audience and even the cameraman. Parts of the story are carried by Wayne’s narration to the camera, in which he offers his comment on what’s happening in the film. Wayne, Garth, Cassandra, Glen, and Ben all at times address the viewer, with some assumed dramatic irony as no one is aware that they are in a film.

The cultural references of Wayne’s World may date it a bit, but the nature and personality of its humor set it apart. There is a kind of naive benevolence and boundless joy which makes this movie so lovable.

Demons once ruled mankind under Akivasha, Sorceress Queen of Acheron, until overthrown by the god Valka. The kingdom of Valusia was built on the ruins of Acheron, and Valka left a single flame of Acheron there to burn for eternity as reminder of “godless times”.
What appears at first to be a great battle soon resolves itself into Kull’s entrance exam for admission into the king of Valusia’s elite Dragon Legion. Kull fails to gain entry, however, after telling General Taligaro that he is from Atlantis, i.e., not of ‘noble blood’. While they speak, a messenger from the palace reports that the king has gone mad and is slaughtering his heirs.
Taligaro and the Legion ride for Velusia, Kull following behind. They enter the throne room to find the king covered in blood and the floor littered with bodies. The king turns on Taligaro, but Kull stops him, trying to calm his blind rage. The king then turns on Kull instead. Mortally wounded when his own sneak attack fails, the king summons enough energy to make Kull his heir out of spite. He knows that many will try to kill Kull, especially Taligaro and his cousin, who are both of royal blood and who would have otherwise been in line for the throne.
Taligaro and the king’s cousin conspire to bring Akivasha back to life, to destroy Kull and take the crown themselves. Akivasha seduces Kull with ease and marries him. Once married, she becomes Queen and promptly poisons Kull, who is believed by the royal court to be dead; however, Kull reawakens to find out the truth of Akivasha. He frees himself from confinement and plots to regain his throne and vanquish the evil witch. He is joined in his quest by Ascalante, a priest of an old abandoned god whom Kull had freed earlier, and Zareta, Ascalante’s sister and fortune-teller, who was a member of Kull’s harem wrongfully accused of his murder by the queen.
What results is a series of tests and adventures which ultimately results in the death of the witch, the reinstatement of Kull as King, the abolishment of the slavery of Velusia, the reformation of the laws of the lands, and the inclusion of a new Queen.
It is a very physical film. The fight scenes are well choreographed. If you are a fan of Andromeda and Hercules you will enjoy watching Kevin Sorbo as Kull.
