The Curse of Tanner Manor

On Halloween, Jackson and Ramona decide to abandon their parents to go to a haunted house where Jimmy and Stephanie (working there as zombies) decide to teach them a lesson. Max’s friend Taylor becomes his enemy when he blogs negatively about the Fuller house’s Halloweens and DJ throws a party to impress Taylor while Kimmy and Fernando dress up as Lucy and Ricky and the former is upset when she is cut out of Fernando’s planned performance at the party.MV5BNDU3MDY1Y2QtYzNhMy00MzBlLWFmNTgtMzU0OWNlMGNmMjJjL2ltYWdlXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyNjc5Mjg0NjU@__V1_SX1500_CR0,0,1500,999_AL_I am so glad for Fuller House. IT’S NOT MY JOB

Jesse has made his first sale of an advertising jingle. As a result, Jesse tells his father, Nick Katsopolis, that he wants to leave the pest exterminator business that is run by Nick, and Nick is severely disappointed by this – so disappointed, that Nick loses his temper with Jesse and says that he is out of the family. Jesse and his mother Irene manage to talk some sense into Nick, who realizes that Jesse has a dream about making it in the music business, and Nick and Jesse work things out. Meanwhile, Stephanie is afraid to go to the dentist to get a tooth filled, and she is even more nervous when she is actually sitting in the examination chair. Joey helps her beat her fear.

DIVORCE COURT

Family discord is not usually in high supply within the Tanner household, but trouble begins when D.J. and Stephanie-who haven’t been getting along too well recently-duke it out over privacy issues in their shared bedroom. Frustrated that her big sister doesn’t appreciate her, Stephanie impulsively moves in with little Michelle, a decision she soon regrets. Of course, the kids aren’t the only ones at odds with each other; Danny, Jesse, and Joey go on live air with Wake Up, San Francisco, challenge one another to a footrace, and set out to prove who is the most physically strong. After the race the boys attempt to play court to mediate the situation between Stephanie and D.J.

These episode may not be fully Halloween as the Halloween theme is mostly a wrap round for the shows but they are still good fun episodes and bring back that nostalgic theme that we all fondly remember from Full House.

Before I started watching Fuller House, I read a bunch of reviews and was so disappointed that it was getting ripped to shreds that I almost didn’t give it a chance, but curiosity got the best of me and I started watching. To echo some of the other reviewers, yes, the first episode is incredibly cheesy and feels more like an homage to the old cast than an introduction to a new show, but after just the main cast of Fuller House is left, I found it actually quite fantastic.  Some say that it’s just rehashing the original show and in a lot of ways, they have taken an extremely similar storyline, but beyond that it is totally its own. But what I absolutely love about it is that it feels like a 90s sitcom. I grew up watching Full House, Fuller House can stand on its own two legs without their Full House background and I have been very pleasantly surprised.

Nowadays there really isn’t much family friendly material on TV; there are very few shows that aren’t filled with innuendo, language, sex, and so on. But Fuller House stays true to the Full House values and while it may be cheesy at times, each episode has a moral to the story where someone learned something and is better for having learned it. It teaches the audience what’s really important in life and how much families really matter. If you’re looking for a Modern Family type of show, you will not find that in Fuller House, but if you’re missing the sitcoms of the 90s that you could comfortably watch with your whole family, you will love Fuller House.
